Jared Oakes is a partner in Benesch’s Real Estate Practice Group. He regularly represents Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), Real Estate Operating Companies (REOCs), institutional investors, lenders, private equity funds and other public and private investors, developers and owners of commercial real estate, with a particular focus on large scale development projects and corporate real estate. This work includes counseling clients in the acquisition and sale of commercial properties, entity planning (including formation and structuring with respect to joint ventures, limited partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations), leasing, development, corporate facilities management, asset management, commercial lending and debt restructuring.
Jeffrey J. Wild is Benesch’s Firm Administrative Partner, Chair of Benesch’s Real Estate Practice Group and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He focuses his practice on commercial real estate matters, with an emphasis on development, acquisitions, dispositions, financing and joint venture work. He has extensive experience in structuring, drafting and negotiating all types of complex development, redevelopment and financing documents. He is currently very active in the formation and documentation of complex joint venture relationships, as well as multiple levels of private and public project financing, as part of large multi-phased development projects, in addition to the representation of clients in connection with large one-off and portfolio acquisitions.
