Irwin Boris

Irwin is the Chief Investment Officer for 3 Points Realty Partners.

Prior to joining, Mr. Boris worked sourcing acquisitions for several private investors (foreign & US) where he was responsible for deal sourcing, negotiation, underwriting, due diligence and financing; and was a top originator during his 10 year tenure with Capmark Finance / GMAC Commercial Mortgage. Irwin has more than 25 years experience in real estate finance, investment and asset management. During his professional career, Irwin has participated as a direct lender, principal, investment banker and advisor in more than $5.0 billion in real estate transactions.

He sits on the investment committee for a 3rd generation family office.

Irwin started his career as a CPA with a national accounting firm that specialized in real estate where he supervised audits and due diligence until he was hired by LeFrak to help run LeFrak City and then Newport. At both locations, he supervised the maintenance staff, dealt with government agencies and collect delinquent rent in Landlord Tenant Court.

In addition to teaching on Multifamily Development & Investment at Fordham University, Irwin is a frequent speaker on multifamily investing at family office and other industry conferences.

Mr. Boris received his M.S. in Real Estate from New York University with a concentration in Real Estate Investment and received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Long Island University.

He is a licensed real estate broker in New York.
